Abstract Submission

Important Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Abstracts must be submitted online in either Turkish or English through the congress website using the abstract system provided below. Please note that abstracts sent via email or regular mail will not be accepted. Accepted abstracts will be published exactly as uploaded to the system. Therefore, it's crucial to adhere to Turkish or English grammar rules. Please double-check your abstract for accuracy before uploading it. Abstracts that do not adhere to the specified writing rules will be excluded from evaluation, regardless of their content. We kindly request your careful attention in this regard. The author responsible for the abstract submission must complete congress registration by February 23, 2024. Abstracts from authors who have not registered by this date will not be included in the congress abstract book.

Abstract Submission Deadline:
March 10, 2024

Abstract Writing Rules

  • Abstracts will be submitted through the online abstract system.

Following the scientific evaluation, changes in the preferred presentation category may be made. The corresponding author will be informed about any changes via email in the acceptance letter.
  • Authors should select the most suitable topic category for their abstract during the submission process.
  • If an abbreviation is used in the abstract, it must be clearly defined upon its first mention, with the abbreviation stated in parentheses.

    • The purpose or hypothesis of the study should be clearly explained.
    • In the 'Materials and Methods' section, authors should define the study type (retrospective, prospective, randomized, controlled, blind, etc.), criteria for inclusion/exclusion of subjects of control and study groups, and evaluation criteria concisely. Ethical approval or consent should be mentioned, if applicable, along with the statistical methods used.
    • Findings should be presented in line with the methodology, summarized comprehensively with numerical details.
    • The 'Conclusion' section should provide a clear and concise summary of the results. If comparisons are made with other studies, it should be explicitly stated, and the study's strengths and weaknesses should be emphasized.
    • If the study received funding, it should be acknowledged as a footnote."

Evaluation of Abstracts

The evaluation will be conducted online by referees appointed by the Absract Evaluation Committee of the Congress Organizing Committee, while keeping the names and institutions of the researchers confidential. Based on the referee evaluation results, 'Abstract Acceptance' or 'Abstract Rejection' notifications will be sent to the email address of the corresponding author.
